News From The Abyss 19/02/10

Screaming Dreams have three titles being launched in time for the World Horror Convention in March. Yuppieville is a novella by Tony Richards (more info here), The Gemini Factor is a new novel by Paul Kane (more here) and finally, last but not least Against The Darkness a collection of stories by John Llewellyn Probert which sounds like it should be excellent (more here).

Tim Lebbon has posted some random extracts from his forthcoming novel Echo City. You can catch up with them here.

Another week another new ebook venture. Stoker Award finalist Scott Nicholson is behind the scenes of Haunted Computer Books and you can read much more about his plans here.

The Devils Porridge is a new blog from Hemlock books. I highly recommend Hemlock as suppliers of hard to find horror magazines like Little Shoppe Of Horrors (a must for Hammer fans) and Rue Morgue. The blog looks like it could be interesting and you can read it here.

Thanks to Tor for a copy of Michael Shea’s The Extra, review soon.

Thanks to Wordsworth Editions for a copy of Australian Ghost Stories selected by James Doig, review in the near future.
